Volunteer Coordinator
Cre8 Football
Exciting opportunity to join Cre8 as a Volunteer Coordinator! Develop confidence, leadership, and administrative skills while supporting a charitable organisation in empowering communities. This flexible role requires a commitment of 4–8 hours per week, coordinating 3–4 volunteers in both on-field and off-field roles.
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator for an ongoing role to support, train, and retain our team of volunteers. Our volunteering opportunities exist through our sports teams, sessions, and community projects. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, identifying and developing volunteers’ talents, and ensuring they are supported and satisfied in their roles. This role will focus on providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding stage and beyond, ensuring volunteers receive the necessary training and development to succeed. You will also liaise with the Volunteer Recruiter to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to engagement and ongoing coordination of volunteers. This is a vital position within Cre8, offering the chance to make a real impact on our volunteers and the wider community. The ideal candidate will have strong people management and organisational skills, ideally with HR or volunteer management experience. This role requires 4–8 hours per week, which can be completed mainly remotely, but we encourage the successful applicant to support in person on occasion. We have had interest from many volunteers with valuable skills but have struggled to maintain engagement due to resource limitations. This role is crucial in ensuring we can properly support and retain volunteers, helping us to grow our impact in the community. You will be responsible for coordinating approximately 3–4 volunteers at a time, supporting both on-field and off-field roles within Cre8. By stepping into this position, you will directly contribute to creating a stronger, more sustainable volunteer network for Cre8.
