Host / Barista Volunteer - Jean Stokes

Detailed Description

The new community café and pantry, Jean’s Café, at the Jean Stokes Community Centre, will use local surplus food to offer low to no cost food and home cooking workshops for residents. Jean’s Café will be run by Manor Gardens Welfare Trust. Play a key role in supporting the operation of the Jean's Café, greeting customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will help to prepare hot and cold beverages for the local community. Responsibilities: • Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers, offering a friendly service and preparing hot/cold beverages. • Assist customers in finding seating and offer information about the Cafe and wider services/initiatives available. • Support the Food Coordinator at events such as workshops and training sessions • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment. When: Fridays 12 - 3pm
