Charity Trustees
Friends of the River Crane Environment
FORCE is a a local charity with over 700 members, run by volunteers with no paid staff. We work in partnership with key stakeholders to improve the river corridor for people and wildlife. The charity is seeking further trustees to support current trustees who work within 7 areas - planning, nature, volunteering, membership, partnerships, communications and finance.
The Friends of the River Crane Environment is a volunteer led organisation which works to improve the lower Crane catchment for people and wildlife. Our work is only possible through active partnership with a number of other organisations and the work of the trustees who direct the strategy and manage projects and volunteers. There are 7 portfolios of work. These are planning (responding to planning applications affecting lower Crane catchment), nature, volunteering, membership, partnerships, communications and finance. Each portfolio is led by a trustee who works on a strategy agreed annually by the board of trustees. We are looking to recruit further trustees to support the delivery of our portfolios of work.
