Join in the festive fun at Bushy Park on 13 December!
Join in the fun by helping to cheer on runners and help keep them on track. It promises to be a really fun day out and a great way to support a fantastic cause! You will sign in participants as they arrive and hand out Santa Suits, then help indicate where they need to continue along the route. Once the run has started, if you could spare time to walk over to the finish line and cheer them as they finish, it will be greatly appreciated by the runners. We also want to help maintain the park and make sure we have not left any litter, so your help with this would be invaluable! Santa Fun Run will be held on Sunday 13 December at Bushy Park. We are looking for Santa Fun Run Volunteers to be on-site from 8:30am – 12pm. The run begins at 10am. We hope to see you there! If you can’t make that day, can you help spread the word about our iconic and much loved event?

Our staff, our patients and our community all benefit from the support of our fantastic volunteers. But what do you get out of it? Firstly, all our volunteers find the experience extremely rewarding. They meet some amazing people and get a real buzz knowing they’re making a big difference. But there are lots of other reasons too. You’ll learn new skills which could help you in your role and in everyday life. We’ll give you full training and support in your role. You’ll be a much valued part of our team – and have a say in how we’re run. You’ll hear about career opportunities within Princess Alice Hospice. You’ll have fun and make new friends! You’ll gain practical work experience, to help land your first job or a place at university.
Bushy Park run on30 November, approx. time 8.30am-12pm or you can join us at Sandown Park Racecourse (Esher) on 14 December.
