Gardener to Care for our Garden weeding, watering and maintained on a regular basis
Merton Vision are looking for committed and social volunteers to help to keep our Gardens looking safe and care for, weeded and maintained for our blind and partially sighted clients to enjoy. In this Centre we encourage social interaction with the client group in our mission to combat loneliness and isolation.

Experience of Gardening is desirable • Offer a warm welcome to people from various backgrounds and communities • Open communication with the volunteering services manager • Follow our policies and procedures, attend relevant training sessions, and maintain appropriate boundaries • Weed and tidy up flower beds, prune shrubs and mow grass. • Able to use our gardening tools and equipment safely. • Water plants . • Gather compost and . • Plant new plants where applicable. • • Ensure the garden is safe & hygiene regulations are observed. • • Report any concerns • •
