We are looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to assist our community group outings to art galleries, museums and parks across London. Join us for tours of the Wellcome Collection, The British Museum, Kew Gardens and more.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to assist our community group outings to art galleries, museums and parks across London. Join us for tours of the Wellcome Collection, The British Museum, Kew Gardens. Most Art and Nature outings take place for 3 hours in total on a weekday. All of our Art Visits are led by members of staff at museums and galleries. All of our Nature Visits are led by trainer Nature Leaders. Role descriptions: - Meet the member of staff/ group leader and community group at allocated meeting point - Assist the group leader with leading the group to the venue, ensuring the group stays together - Ensure that all group members are comfortable, included and aware of programme for the day - Befriend group members and engage in conversation - Assist the member of staff with ordering teas and coffees at a cafe at the end of visit - Hand out evaluation and registration forms at the end of the day Download our latest activity flyer to see our upcoming Art and Nature outings: https://www.slt.org.uk/services/activity-flyer/

No special requirements, but the volunteers will need to be reliable and inform us in advance if they cannot attend. Pleasant manner, reliability, ability to help people with poor social skills, is also required.
