Evolve Housing + Support is looking for an enthusiastic IT Volunteer to support our residents to get online, complete job searches and access all that the internet has to offer. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking share their skills and/or gain experience of working within the homelessness sector. Your duties will include the following: * Support residents to build their confidence in using computers * Show residents how to save files and CVs in folders or to USB * Help residents to set up email accounts and access relevant websites * Assist residents to complete job searches

IT Skills - Good
* Relevant qualification in computing or work experience * Computer skills, including word processing * Clear and polite communication * Able to work on own initiative
As a volunteer with Evolve Housing + Support, you will be able to access: • Experience working within the charity sector • A full, site-specific induction • Ongoing supervision and support from Project Staff • Travel expenses within zones 1-6 (or as otherwise agreed) and lunch expenses if working over 4 hours per day
The role is flexible, but we suggest once a week or once a fortnight for around 2-3 hours, which might include prep time, activities, tidying up and debriefing with staff.
