Arts at Home - bringing joy to residents in care settings through arts and culture
We are looking for volunteers to join us in our mission to bring joy residents in care settings by running fortnightly sessions at an extra care scheme in Mildmay. Are you a confident communicator and passionate about arts and culture? We would love to hear from you. Volunteers will lead a one hour engaging and participatory session discussing works or arts with a group of residents and care staff. Volunteers will receive training to deliver arts sessions in a care home environment with an engaging, conversation-led approach using our 'Arts at Home' toolkit. Volunteers will be supported throughout the programme and the Art Explora team will guide you through your first sessions.
