Community Neighbour Driver – Flexible Volunteering with Your Own Car
Hampton and Hampton Hill Voluntary Care Group
Do you enjoy driving and have a few hours to spare? Our Community Drivers help local people who struggle with transport get to vital appointments and social activities. This flexible role fits around your schedule, with mileage reimbursed. Just by giving a lift, you could help someone stay independent, connected, and supported.
Would you like to make a big difference with just a small amount of your time? Our Community Drivers use their own cars to help older people and those with limited mobility get to medical appointments, social groups, and community activities they might otherwise miss. Many of our clients simply couldn’t get out without this support. This is a flexible role, you choose when you’re available, whether that’s weekdays, evenings, or weekends. Even one or two journeys a week can make a huge difference. We reimburse petrol expenses, provide training and guidance, and you’ll be supported by our friendly team at Greenwood Community Centre.
