Friendly Neighbour – Flexible Befriending Role

Could you spare an hour or two a week to brighten someone’s day? We’re looking for Friendly Neighbours to offer companionship by phone, at home, or over a cuppa. This is a flexible role where your time, kindness, and listening ear can make a world of difference to someone who may feel lonely or isolated.
Are you a good listener with a warm, friendly nature? Do you enjoy a chat and want to give something back to your community? We’re looking for Friendly Neighbours to join our valued team of befrienders. This role is flexible, you can offer support by phone, at someone’s home, or by meeting in the community. Even one or two hours a week can make a huge difference. You’ll be offering companionship and conversation to someone who may feel isolated. For many, this might be their only regular contact, and your involvement could help lift their spirits, connect them with the local area, and give them something positive to look forward to.
