Read Easy UK is a nationwide charity that helps adults learn to read. Trained volunteer reading coaches are matched one-to-one with learners who struggle with their reading. Read Easy UK is excited to be launching its first London group: Read Easy Hackney. To support this well established group, we are looking for a Data Protection Champion. Liaise with members of the team to make sure that all personal data is stored according to the Data Protection Policy Time commitment: 1-2 hrs p/m. Above all we are looking for volunteers who are interested in the difficulties faced by those who struggle with reading, who have a non-judgmental attitude and respect for others, who have energy, enthusiasm and commitment, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
