To assist in raising sponsorship and support from companies, schools and organisations in the community for a local music therapy charity helping children and adults with additional needs to flourish through music. Contact local organisations to help get sponsorship and support, including raffle prizes. Marketing materials provided but any input valued. Assist in organising fundraising events or help out on the day. Enjoy learning about and seeing the life-changing benefits of music.
A volunteer is sought to work with small, friendly team, to raise funds in the community for Richmond Borough based music therapy charity, The Otakar Kraus Music Trust (OKMT). Contact local companies, schools or organisations such as golf clubs, for sponsorship and support e.g. choosing OKMT as charity of the year, running fundraising events, giving raffle prizes. Assist in producing marketing materials and help with the organisation, or on the day, of occasional fundraising events. Any experience or knowledge of corporate/community fundraising will be helpful. You will be supported by the team, but ideally someone who can work on their own initiative to support this inspiring charity.

Standard IT and admin skills. Ideally some understanding or experience of fundraising or marketing, but mainly to have some local knowledge or contacts, and the enthusiasm and determination to get OKMT known to more organisations who could support us. Someone who is outgoing and happy to speak to new people and able to work independently with support.
Join a small team of dedicated, friendly people with wide experience of the charity sector and of additional needs. Develop your fundraising, marketing and organisational skills. Contribute to a charity, which amongst other services, is enabling children and young people, some with profound disabilities, to learn to play a musical instrument and perform in concerts, helping them gain self-esteem and confidence. Be part of a community at fundraising events and attend our joyful and uplifting concerts.

We do not have a premise and use rented venues. All management and admin staff work from home. We will meet in various central venues in Richmond & Twickenham and online. Work will be mainly remote working, except for any events.
