Trainee Counselling Supervisor

About the role: HoardingUK support individuals who may be facing a variety of situations including legal, financial, psychological, and discriminatory abuse/neglect in relation to hoarding behaviours. You will be providing clinical supervision to trainee and volunteer counsellors who support those impacted by hoarding behaviour. You will be working with trained colleagues to alleviate housing, benefits, mental health, and other problems experienced by HUK's participants.

Detailed Description

The role consists of: Volunteering at HUK a minimum of one half-day (4 hours) each week. Providing accurate and timely clinical supervision with trainee/volunteer counsellors. Maintain a caseload of up to three trainee Counsellors/Psychotherapist. Complying with HUK's case-management procedures, training program and other relevant policies and procedures. We are looking for: Qualified Counsellors/Psychotherapists currently enrolled in a clinical supervision training course. Accredited or working towards accreditation with the BACP, BABCP or UKCP. Experiences of working both face to face or remotely to provide therapy. The ability to work sensitively and professionally with people facing difficult circumstances. A commitment to volunteering with HUK for 1 year or the duration of our counselling programs. A commitment to values and ethos of HUK.
