Helpline Support Volunteer
HoardingUK Ltd
You will be providing support for people impacted by hoarding behaviour who may be facing a variety of situations including legal, financial, psychological and discriminatory abuse and neglect. You will act as a first point of contact, sign posting callers to services and support within and outside of the charity and providing emotional support. Additionally, volunteers will manage a caseload of callers that are scheduled for weekly call sessions for those who need support.
HoardingUK (HUK), the UK National Charity for people impacted by hoarding behaviour, is looking for volunteer helpline workers to join our Telephone Helpline Service providing support for adults, carers and family members across the UK who are impacted by hoarding behaviour. Often this is the first point of entry for people seeking advice. This can be an initial step leading to ongoing engagement or an answer providing relevant information empowering informed actions.
