We seek kind, patient and efficient volunteers, who can support us with the running of our weekly lunch club. No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to engage with the older people who attend our events. This role is suitable for volunteers who are able to complete/comfortable with manual tasks, such as setting up and packing away, and with carrying food to tables.
Feeling like you are giving back to the community through creating community bonds, minimising isolation and loneliness through older people in the local community by helping us run these weekly community lunches.
