Westminster City Council Night Stars

A team of volunteers who help vulnerable people get home safe after a night out.

Detailed Description

Night Stars volunteers undertake the following: - Acting as an ambassador for the night time economy and creating a welcoming environment for both local businesses and visitors - Providing information on local premises, transport links, and .. - Working with Met police, council enforcement staff and night-time economy businesses to support and protect visitors - Look after those who have become vulnerable on a night out, and support them getting home without coming to harm - Escorting those who require assistance to a safe space/haven - Signposting people to support services if required

Time Commitment

A minimum of one 4.5 hour shift every four weeks. These shifts take place every Friday evening, and the last Saturday Evening of every calendar month.
