Volunteer at our charity shop in The Royal London Hospital to support London’s Air Ambulance. Your help is vital in raising funds and awareness for our life-saving service. Volunteers will assist with shop duties like greeting customers, handling payments, and providing information about the charity. Commit to at least one shift per week for a minimum of six months. • Comfortable working in a team • Trustworthy, polite, helpful and friendly • Reliable and be able to commit to set shifts • Empathetic and a good listener • Experience of cash handling and using an electronic till would be an advantage although not essential.
Our volunteers are greatly valued as members of our team so by volunteering in this role, you will: • Have the opportunity to meet new people, build relationships with hospital staff and patients and be an ambassador for London's Air Ambulance Charity • Gain retail experience • Have the chance to engage with members of the public to promote the work of London's Air Ambulance Charity • Gain access to relevant training to gain and develop your skills, as well as our other volunteer opportunities.

Whitechapel
The easiest way to find the shop is to come out of Whitechapel station, cross the main road in front of you at the traffic lights and walk up E Mount Street. Follow it around to the right, and enter by the very last exit on your left (through revolving doors). Keep walking in the same direction, following the corridor straight ahead, and then as it bends round to the left, the shop will be on your left. The shop is open weekdays from 10am-5pm.
