Helping Volunteer
The Listening Place
Helping Volunteers welcome visitors onto our premises and provide support to their shift.
The Listening Place is a volunteer-led charity aiming to transform how we support people who feel suicidal. Helping Volunteers are responsible for welcoming our suicidal visitors onto our premises, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere (along with a cup of tea), and supporting our Listening Volunteers to help everything run smoothly on the shift.
