Detailed Description

The Pembridge Hospice aims to provide holistic, individualised care. This purpose of this role is to assist and support the Creative Wellbeing Teacher in delivering creative sessions (one to one and group) for patients attending Pembridge Day Services.

You’ll be respectful, courteous, compassionate and willing to undertakes aspects of support within the role You’ll believe in always giving your personal best and striving for continuous improvement You’ll be aware of, and will adhere to CLCH procedures You’ll attend training sessions as required You’ll be flexible and adaptable You’ll be able to clearly communicate with patients taking into consideration their needs and preferences You’ll be sensitive to, and aware of the importance of maintaining boundaries and confidentiality You’ll have an interest in the facilitation of creative expression for individuals / groups You’ll be able to listen non-judmentally with kindness and compassion to vulnerable patients in the group contexts who may at times express challenging behaviour/emotions You’ll have a calm and friendly manner You’ll have a personal creative interest/practice and/or training.
