Admin and Office Support Volunteer

Are you passionate about Mental Health and wellbeing? Volunteer with us to use or improve your Admin skills to help out in our office by taking booking for our events, processing paperwork and responding to email queries.

Detailed Description

We are looking for Admin and Office Support Volunteers who are passionate about supporting a local Mental Health charity for 2 hours a week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. We are looking for volunteers to support our office by responding to emails queries, taking bookings for our events, day to day admin task working with our Lamplight database and processing paperwork. We are looking for volunteers with basic IT skills with good teamwork and communication skills. Full training and support is provided by our Programmes Manager.

What skills are required for this role

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills

Why these skills are required

Basic IT skills , polite telephone manner, attention to detail, good teamwork and communication skills. Desirable - Data base platforms.

What is in it for you

Full training will be given, one to one support , regular holistic training for all volunteers, regular volunteer meetings and get togethers. Reference after three months completion Out of pocket expenses paid.

Time Commitment

We are looking for volunteers to commit 2 hours (minimum) on either a Tuesday or Wednesday each week. Alternatively, we are looking for volunteers to commit 4 hours a week on a fortnightly basis.
