Tottenham based charity seeking new trustees with local knowledge.
Wheely Tots is a successful community-led charitable social enterprise based in Tottenham. Our activities promote healthy, confident, resilient communities through improving connections to each other and the outdoors. We provide age-friendly walking and cycling activities reaching people aged 1 to 91. We also deliver the Moselle Community Project from Broadwater Farm Community Centre: weekly age-friendly activities and a shared hot meal. We’re keen to hear from people who are interested in what we do who might want to get involved with running the charity as a trustee.
Trusteeships & Committees
Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Evaluating & Reviewing, Organising & Planning
We’re particularly looking for people with the following skills and/or lived experience: -Knowledge of East Haringey and the communities in this area -Experience and expertise in the charity sector -Marketing and communications
As a trustee you will support our small team to make sure that the charity is meeting its aims; for and with the community. You don’t need to meet all the requirements to apply as we can provide relevant training and support, as well as expenses that would help you to do the role. If you’re interested then we want to hear from you.
Attendance at meetings: Minimum 4 meetings per year (in person/online) Additional meetings may be called between the main meetings Ad hoc support for CEO outside meetings
