Head Held High leads highly motivational and interactive workshops/programmes for young people at risk of exclusion/affiliation with knife crime. We are looking for a passionate and self motivated project partner assistant to support Head Held High in reducing youth exclusions and the reduction of knife crime. Head Held High leads highly motivational and interactive workshops/programmes for young people at risk of exclusion/affiliation with knife crime. We empower individuals to reveal the courage to take new action to achieve new results through our proactive style of delivery. There is a massive need for our work within secondary schools, pupil referral units and youth offending teams however funding has been difficult this year. A Project partner assistants role will be focused on generating leads, potential partnerships that Head Held High can work with. You will need to be self motivated, confident and passionate about the cause. Your role will include: - Researching corporate businesses with similar charitable objectives, secondary schools, youth hubs and mental health organisations. - You will contact the above organisations introducing Head Held High and setting up potential meetings with the Director. - Contacting relevant funders and organisations linked with youth violence reduction. - Compiling spreadsheets with new contacts and meetings. - Making telephone calls to introduce Head Held High to new companies. This is a rewarding role which needs someone to be motivated in the area of prevention of young exclusions and youth violence. You need to have a proactive attitude and aim to achieve tangible results for the company. This is a part remote part in person role. It is a trial voluntary placement to see if it works for both of us starting asap until December 2024. On completion you will receive a character reference to help with future employment.

Each volunteer will receive a character reference to help with future employment. They will also receive a free one hours coaching session to help both personally and professionally
Ideally 8 hours a week if that suits the volunteer but happy to discuss.
