Charity Shop Volunteer

Volunteer to support us in our charity shop located in Mare Street completing various tasks to ensure a smooth operation within the store.
Duties as a charity shop volunteer will include: • Sort and process new donations of clothing, books, and general bric-a-brac • Greeting customers and helping the shop to have a welcoming and friendly environment • Operate the till and serve customers • Ensure shop is kept clean and tidy

Volunteers will receive and induction, on-going training and access to our on-line learning portal where additional learning can be taken. There are a wide range of courses available from those related to the role in the shop, food hygiene certificate, health and safety, to CV writing and lots more. Free tea and coffee is available throughout, and a free lunch is available to those working over the lunch hours.
We are ideally looking for volunteers who can give a few hours a week, a few hours a month, a day a week, a day a month, or more.
