Event Fundraiser Volunteer

Primary purpose to secure event fundraising: Source raffle prizes from the local community for the fundraising event raffle draw. Source product donations for event goody bags. Lead on securing event sponsorship and event exhibition stands and event donations Manning a charity stand at an event (optional)

Detailed Description

Do you have 1-2 hours a day to work from home and passionate about boosting mental health in the local community. Choose your own working hours and you will play an exciting part in the event fundraising with the support of the Grants and Fundraising Lead, and the wider Marketing Team. You will raise important funding for Making Time For Black Events as well as spreading awareness of its work to businesses in the community. Regularly present new event funding ideas to the team.

Admin, IT skills - basic, Creative & Design, IT Skills - good, Managing People, Organising & Planning, Fundraising, Marketing, Project Management

You will need to have: - 2 years minimum fundraising experience. - Strong administration skills. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills. - Strong organisational and multitasking skills. - Good IT skills and can use WhatsApp and Google Drive. - Ability to meet deadlines. - Interest in working with a small charitable organisation and willingness to work as part of a small team. - Interest in addressing health inequalities and tackling mental health stigmas.
