Social Media / Digital Marketing Volunteer will be managing existing channels that the group uses (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and may also wish to develop the group's presence using other channels.
Are you or someone you know a whizz at Social Media? Do you know your Facebook from your Insta? Could you 1 to 2 hours a week to help a local community group and our precious environment? Sustainable Thornton Heath has been running bi- monthly 'Pop-up Sustainable Living Hubs' in TH, which have gradually been building in terms of their offering to the local community. Social Media / Digital Marketing Volunteer will be managing existing channels that the group uses (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and may also wish to develop the group's presence using other channels. They will play a key part in promoting the group's bi-monthly Pop-up Sustainable Living Hubs online in particular and growing our online membership and engagement.

Social Media / Digital Marketing Volunteer will need to have strong knowledge of and skills in social media, and ideally across various channels (Facebook as a minimum, and ideally Twitter and Instagram as well). They will need to be able to develop or help develop engaging content, and to be able to increase reach and engagement. In particular we need the social media lead to help raise awareness of our bi-monthly Pop-up Sustainable Living Hubs, and to ultimately help increase footfall at the hubs. We would like someone who is able to commit to 6 months+ on this role.
- Gaining experience in digital marketing - We provide references upon completing 6 months of volunteering with us - Travel expenses if required - Potential to become more involved in organisation if desired - Be part of a friendly team that cares about people and the environment
