Football/General Helper

A great opportunity for individuals looking to get involved in a local community project. We are looking for volunteers to assist with general tasks performed by the organisation to ensure the smooth running of football sessions/matches on Saturday mornings AND/OR afternoons.

Detailed Description

We are looking for volunteers to assist with general tasks performed by the organisation to ensure the smooth running of football sessions on Saturday mornings. This is predominantly outdoors role will involve general tidying, setting up, putting away, moving, and organising of football equipment, setting up may include carrying light weight equipment. The volunteer must be available at least two times per month and be able to commit to at least ONE of the following time slots (which the volunteer can change on each occasion if necessary); 8:10am - 9:10am, 8:45am - 10:00am, 9:45am - 10:30am.

Why these skills are required

The volunteer will need to be reliable, healthy enough to perform light weight carrying, hardworking and flexible in terms of the exact task they will be required to do on any given occasion. The volunteer needs to be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

For those without a DBS, we can support and pay for the processing of this document. Training/Qualifications as required. Recognition-Certificates of Appreciation. Invitations to events/projects.

Time Commitment

Volunteers need to be available at least 2/3 Sessions per month.

By Train - Go to Selhurst Station. Then it's about a 3 minute walk to the Arena. Turn right out of Station entrance into Selhurst Road. Take first turning right into Edith Road. At the junction with Dagnall Park, turn left, keep walking until you find the SSA on the right. By Bus - Bus 75 or 157 towards Selhurst and about 2 minutes walk to Dagnall Park
