She found beautiful outfits, books and toys. I’m forever grateful to people who put it together” Who is Little Village? We are London’s biggest Baby Bank, helping over 7000 children per year. With love, we collect donations of pre-loved items to share with children living in poverty. Volunteers are at the heart of Little Village and essential to everything we do. From supporting families face to face or on the ‘phone to sorting donations or delivering gifts. At Little Village, you’ll meet local like-minded people, use your skills, and have fun. Most importantly, you’ll make a real and immediate difference to families facing tough times. What will I do? • Get to know each child using details we provide to select items they’ll love • Create beautiful packages of clothes, toys and books with love and care • Check donated pre-loved items, so that they are all of gift quality • Organise checked items by gender, age, and type • Make smaller gift packs e.g., underwear, socks, bibs and linen • Safety check and clean buggies and cots, when needed • Greet and thank people arriving with donations of pre-loved items • Help loading and unloading gifts and stock for delivery • Act in a non-judgmental, inclusive and loving way

We ask for a minimum of 4 hours per fortnight.
